A lorry transporting briquettes to a customer was involved in a serious road accident, and the cargo was heavily damaged. At the same time, there was no remaining stock available for immediate replacement.
The customer urgently needed product, and delays could have easily created problems further down the supply chain.
Because Redal works across multiple European markets and has an established partner network, we were able to organise an alternative shipment the very same day. The replacement products reached the customer with only minimal delay, while the producer did not need to deal with the additional pressure of finding emergency stock or reorganising transport.
Situations like this are impossible to predict, but having the right partners makes solving them much easier.
